I'm very excited to reveal the first Kindred Closets Artist Showdown winner! Before we delve into passing out imaginary trophies, I'd like to dive in to show a little bit more of the talent represented in this contest. Both of these artists are immensely talented and it was a fair duel, yet one artist came out on top in terms of "votes". Although this is a contest, the true purpose is to enable introductions to artists who may as of yet be unknown to my readers.
I mentioned in a previous post that Anthony Resto insists art lovers like to see process images and quick sketches (see one of mine here), so I've asked both Resto and Corens to submit some process images of their work.
