The color coral is probably one of nature's most beautiful gifts to humanity (well, you know, after children,  puppies, chocolate, and red lipstick). Coral is one of those colors that is universally flattering. It looks good on pretty much EVERY skin tone from ebony to ivory and every shade in between because of it's unique balance of warm and cool within the color. This is hands down one of my favorite colors of all times. Lately I've noticed it is being paired a lot with the clean crisp color of white. 

I have to admit, I usually stick to dark colors, but lately I have been obsessed with the color white. There are so many shades and variances within what we would call white, which is great because that means that there is a shade of white oout there that flatters each and every person.

This makes a unique combination that really sets off your smile and warms up your skin tone. Do you own anything coral?

Raquel Schuler's Picks: Tropical Winter - Night

It is time for another guest collaboration with singer-songwriter, Raquel Schuler of the Brazilian metal band, Hydria.

It's Summer here, but it's Winter in the Southern hemisphere. I would wear this in the Fall/Winter here too. Just add a faux fur collar or a scarf and hat. It gets pretty cold here in Arkansas, USA in the winter -cold enough for snow and ice. It sucks to drive in, but it's fun to play in and catch snowflakes on your tongues. In the summer heat here I sometimes think about how much  look forward to the winter!

Raquel Schuler's Picks: Cropped Tops

In a place known for sandy beaches and beautiful babes, singer-songwriter, Raquel Schuler of Brazilian metal band, Hydria, says cropped tops are a huge trend in her home town of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!

I love these looks! Cropped tops look great with high waisted skirts, especially if you have a nice flat tummy. If not, or if you are a little bit more conservative, you can do what I do and pair these with a skinny tank underneath to elongate the waist, or wear the crop top over a fitted dress (with control-top spanx!). Also the necklace reminds me of the one Raquel wore in her promo shoot (see below).
